No No No, NOT a shot of liquid cocaine. I'm talking about Lauren Conrad --- yes, THAT LC...my favorite TV personality of all times. After her departure announcement from The Hills, she speaks on the Letterman show about her upcoming "projects". I just learned that one of her many projects is to design an affordable clothing line "LC" for Kohls! It will hit stores this October. The line will consist of only apparel initially but they are in the talks of expanding it to include shoes, jewelry, handbags, intimates and sleepwear, ranging from $20-60. You know I am never too into those teeny booper pop culture icons but for some reason, I am just a sucker for The Hills (are you overwhelmed by my enthusiasm towards the show yet?) I love Lauren but I just can NOT afford the "Lauren Conrad" label (cotton dress for $300+?!?!? Or perhaps her launch of the high end fashion label is not selling so she is finding other outlets to channel her talent and most importantly, make $$$ because she ain't bring home the $$$ now that she left The Hills!). However, with the collaboration with Kohl's, this newly anticipated line is much better, and much more suitable for me to show my support as a fan. I think one of the reasons why I love her style so much is that it's effortless and it resonates with me. Anyways, I have already penciled in this launch preliminary launch date in my calendar. Have you yet?

If there's one thing i learned from this months cover story in Glamour --- I would have to say that nothing beats comfort. Sandra Bullock's winning shot features her comfortably in a plaid button up. She is relaxed, sexy, and she's just...Sandra Bullock. Sometimes I feel better in what I am wearing when I am in t-shirt and jeans vs. a dress and heels. Recently, I have fallen in love with the so-cal sun kissed girl look (i kinda made that phrase up just now). An oversized plaid shirt, jean shorts, oversized slouch hobo, and cute sandals.
