I don't know what is up with all the purse craze. $2000+ for a Chanel flap bag, a Bottega Veneta woven basket tote for $3000+, a Stella McCartney gem clutch for $1000. Ok, you get the picture. Not sure what exactly I'm seeking if I am paying THAT much for a purse? Design, I think not. Anything with a "Chloe" stamped on there essentially equals "good design". Craftsmanship, I think not. For that much I better get top notch leather and perfection tailoring. Status, that might be the answer. The price tag can definitely signify who you are --- and by who, I'm not talking about personality; I am talking about status symbol.
Anyways, as much as I want to be in on this purse craze, I really don't think it's a hobby I should be getting myself into. If you feel the same way. Settle for less, like the one below.
The slouchy, laid-back shape will keep it's style for a long time. If it's Burberry then I'm pretty confident to make the conclusion that this purse is made of luxurious leather. What I like is that the brand is not too visible and in your face. Completely in-line with the the best style tip --- subtlety.
